D-TRACK CONTINUES TO SURPASS HIS LIMITS WITH A NEW ALBUM: L'OSSTIDTOUR
Three albums in less than four years! D-Track (pronounced “Dé-track”) is inspired, and it shows. Today, the veteran MC unveils his eighth career solo album, L'Osstidtour. Accompanied by a music video for the clever track “L'Osstidtour à condo”, the release promises lyrics as personal and denunciatory as ever, set to beats that surprise every time.
On this project, D-Track was able to count on the appearances of names that get people talking: Akhénaton, Koriass, Seinssucrer, Mike Shabb, Sam Faye and Taga. In addition to producing some of the tracks on the album (“Oh mah god”, “J'veux être riche”, “Keep on”, “Flanders”), D-Track called on producers from all over to set the mood: August Fanon (USA), nomstks, Stack Moolah, Quest, Ruffsound and Lord.
The Gatineau rapper continues to draw inspiration from his daily life, his family, his motivations and his neighborhood, while denouncing certain aspects of our society in a lucid manner and with rhymes as precise as ever. His hometown is never too far away, especially when he evokes the omnipresence of the condo towers that continue to spread across his native Outaouais (“L'Osstidtour à condo”).
