LARY KIDD RELEASES A NEW ALBUM : LE CHEVAL BLANC DE NAPOLÉON

Boom! Lary Kidd is back with a third album: LE CHEVAL BLANC DE NAPOLÉON. An opus of 11 hard-hitting new tracks, entirely produced by his accomplice Ajust.

The Montreal artist is back with a bang, an irreverent album packed with social and philosophical references. Indeed, on LE CHEVAL BLANC DE NAPOLÉON, the rapper embodies his character more than ever. Although he's known for his more denunciatory and existential subjects, Lary offers the listener an escape on this project, with 11 striking new tracks that are highly technical (lyrically) and polished (musically and production-wise). We salute the appearance of colleague Loud (Oui monsieur), a track accompanied by a crazy clip where the two accomplices exchange lyrics in a visual by the master Mobbster. the scathing Fléau Dicaprio (P'tit cochon) and the great master of syllables, Benjamin Epps (De quoi tu parles), acclaimed French rapper. Sometimes introspective, sometimes drooling, but always poignant and exuberant, Lary Kidd takes you on a frenetic ride on the back of Marengo, the famous white warhorse. And she's a bombshell who's sure to wreak havoc on the stage! In fact, it's on the Foufounes Électriques stage that Lary Kidd will present her new album on June 13 and 14, as part of the Francos.

“Angle obtus” is probably the brightest song on the album, with its self-assured, boastful lyrics, bordered by a beat that takes us almost to California with its sounds and synthesizers, courtesy of a fine line-up of beatmakers: Ajust, Ruffsound, Figs and June. The title accompanies the album's release, as it fits perfectly with the fine weather that awaits us, red cup in hand, as the sun sets.
