Rymz began his musical career as a teenager with his duo Mauvais Actewho stood out, thanks to his victory at “Secondaire en spectacle” contest in 2005 and “Boom” in 2007. Within a couple of years, the duo became one of the leading projects on the Quebec rapscene selling more than 4,000 copies of their independent projects Pour les jeunes comme nousand Bien et Mal. The duo then signs a deal with Silence D’orand produces a first official album. L’armewas released in March 2012 and sold over 5,000 copies in addition to obtaining more than a million views through the different videos on Youtube and strong rotations on MusiquePlus. Rymz is also part of the Jungle Music project, another well-known Quebec rap duo with Farfadet. Their album, Farfadet et Rymz presentent Jungle Music, came out in September 2011 and runs to more than 4,000 copies in addition to accumulate hundreds of thousands of views on Youtube and strong rotations on MusiquePlus. Rymz also participated in the two albums on the HHQc.com label, which sold more than 10,000 copies.

Rymz also has a long track record on stage. Performing for nearly 8 years, he has over 300 shows to his credit and has walked the boards of some of the greatest scenes in Quebec. He performed on stage at many major festivals (Francofolies de Montréal - 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2015, FME 2013 and 2018, Le festival d’été de Québec - 2013, 10th anniversary of HHQc at l’Olympia de Montréal, Le Festival hip-hop de Montréal - 2012 and 2013, St-Hyacinthe Agricultural Fair, Festivent) in addition to touring the province of Quebec with a hundred shows over the last two years. Rymz also has a strong online presence with more than 5 million YouTube views (including 1.1 million views on its new YouTube page for the release of his album Indélibile) and a Facebook page of more than 37,000 fans. Rymz offers a quality show worthy of a 25-year-old who has performed over 300 times in his career. Accompanied by his producer and DJ Shash'U and a drummer, he offers a show that comes close to the energy of a rock concert, but with the attitude of the greatest American rappers.
