CLAUDE BÉGIN AND LYSANDRE NADEAU PRESENT MUSIC VIDEO TO ACCOMPANY THEIR SONG « PARENTHÈSE »
Last week, Lysandre Nadeau and Claude Bégin unveiled Parenthèse, a song accompanying their new weekly podcast in which the couple take a break from parenthood to find themselves and evolve as individuals. Today, the content producer and singer-songwriter present a colorful clip, directed by Laurent E. Malo, to appropriately illustrate the song.
While Lysandre and Claude were setting up the final parameters of their new podcast, the director emeritus set himself the challenge of creating a jingle for the show. Inspired, he decided to compose a complete song on the themes of their life in tandem, and to sing it with Lysandre.
The catchy, retro-tinged “Parenthèse” features brass and violins mixed with more contemporary sounds, for a classic Claude Bégin feel. The couple's vocals overlap harmoniously for playful, imaginative lyrics.
