CLAUDE BÉGIN UNVEILS GARDE-MALADE, AN ODE TO HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS
Claude Bégin is back with a new track, "Garde-Malade", in which his distinctive style is clearly evident. An ode to healthcare professionals echoing a life-changing personal experience, it's also the theme song for “Maux à mots”, a new podcast dedicated to doctors and nurses.
Set to the rhythm of a heartbeat, the pop tune celebrates the importance of people who work in healthcare. Inspired by these everyday heroes, “Garde-Malade” is a tribute to their humanity through metaphors of grandeur and hope.
In the song, we also hear Claude share the ordeal he and his partner Lysandre went through during the hospitalization of their child, who underwent surgery at birth.
This song and its title were also born of a collaboration with friends whose clothing brand, dedicated to doctors and nurses, bears the same name.
