CLODELLE UNVEILS A MUSIC VIDEO FOR « RIEN NE M'ÉTONNE »

After an eventful summer, punctuated by a performance at the Festival d'été de Québec and the recording of a new album, Clodelle finally unveils the video for “Rien ne m'étonne”. The song, available since June, is still going strong in radio charts around the province.

Directed by Eva Luna Martinez, the video showcases the acting talents of Clodelle, who plays a private detective who helps her clients who doubt their partner's fidelity. It's a visual journey through time, elegantly blending aesthetics inspired by the 50s to the 70s. This mix of styles is reflected in every detail: from 70s-inspired zooms to the use of a vintage lens on a modern camera, all bathed in a colorful atmosphere. The clip stands out for its ability to capture every opportune moment, like a bus that has created special lighting in the setting at the perfect moment, while celebrating an aesthetic meticulously constructed from A to Z.

The song, produced by John Nathaniel (OneRepublic, Shawn Mendes), nods to the magic of the 60s, using instruments such as upright bass, saxophone and lively percussion. This harmonious blend of retro and contemporary creates a nostalgic atmosphere that invites dancing and celebration.

“Rien ne m'étonne” is an excellent foretaste of Clodelle's first 100% francophone album, due for release on November 22nd.
