OVER 3 MILLION STREAMS AND A NEW ALBUM FOR LOUIS-ÉTIENNE SANTAIS
Louis-Étienne Santais today unveils his first solo piano album entitled Reflection I, a project for which he released the first notes last August and which is now being listened to over 3 million times on digital platforms.
With this opus, the neo-classical composer offers us 45 minutes of soundscapes that are both touching and comforting. Born from the assembly of eleven nuanced compositions from different periods of the composer's life, Reflection I is an intimate and somewhat melancholic finished work. Strongly inspired by his recurring nights of insomnia characterized by creative impulses, the album is a musical exploration centered around the inspiring themes of fleeting time, love in many forms, grief and sincerity.
"Creating a section of a piece or a melody could often mean going back to sleep
around 7 or even 8 in the morning. "
By presenting the nostalgic "Father" as a focus track, accompanied by a live session that is both soft and powerful, it is with simplicity and raw emotions that Louis-Étienne Santais has chosen to mark the release of this new album.
