A pioneer of the Quebec Hip Hop scene, Marieme began her career as a teenager alongside her brother, the rapper and historian Webster. She then went on to collaborate with many renowned artists including Taktika, Samian, CEA, Farfadet and Souldia.
Over the years, Marieme divides her time between production, TV animation, studio and stage. Both in front of and behind the camera, the Senegalese-Quebecoise artist makes her culture shine, always proudly putting forward who she is, that is to say, a mixed-race woman from a working-class neighborhood who has made it her mission to represent urban culture and youth from cultural communities.
After offering us a first eponymous album "Marieme" in 2011, "Petit Tonnerre" in 2013 and the EP "Jusqu'à l'aube" released in 2016, Marieme is preparing a fourth project that promises to dazzle us.
