About
Coming from Dolbeau-Mistassini, Sara Dufour has been carving her path for several years in a style she likes to call folk’n’roll. Authentic and unifying, she has performed more than 500 shows across Quebec and Canada, while also making several breakthroughs in France and China.
In 2025, she received a gold single for her song “Baseball,” as well as a silver ticket for her On va-tu prendre une marche? tour, highlighting more than 25,000 tickets sold. That same year, while on tour, Sara took part in season 3 of the TV show Zénith and emerged as the grand winner. This victory also earned her the “Discovery of the Year” award at the 40th Gémeaux Awards, confirming the strong impact of her participation in the show.
Her latest album On va-tu prendre une marche? earned her the Félix for Folk Album of the Year, along with a nomination for Female Artist of the Year at the 2024 ADISQ Gala. In 2023, she made a lasting impression when she stepped onto the prestigious Plains of Abraham stage during a historic night alongside Les Cowboys Fringants at the Festival d’été de Québec, performing in front of a crowd of more than 90,000 people.
On stage, Sara captivates audiences with her energy, her humor and her sense of closeness. Simple, free and deeply human, she invites the audience into her world for the duration of a show.
