Quebec City, January 24th 2025 – Gaspard Eden continues to unveil his dreamy musical universe with “Cherry”, a second single following the well-received comeback “Alien”.
“Cherry” is a minimalist track recorded straight to tape, blending visceral, driving energy with an ethereal, almost airy quality, where the rhythmic intensity contrasts with an expansive, dream-like atmosphere. The song strikes a delicate balance between joy and sadness, revealing a sincere and nuanced emotion.
Its verses, marked by a timeless melodic simplicity, give way to a weightless chorus inspired by the layered, dreamy textures of shoegaze. At the heart of this chorus, Eden’s lyrics, simple and almost childlike, take center stage:
