LUCILL EXPLORES RESILIENCE ON « LE TEMPS FAIT BIEN LES CHOSES »

Lucill presents her brand new single “Le temps fait bien les choses”, co-written and co-produced with Zoe Sanders. The song explores the surprise of a chance encounter with someone from the past.

The song's instrumentation, with its country and folk influences, is deliberately simple, highlighting a heartfelt lyrics. Lucill describes the song as a hymn to the passage of time, to changing relationships, and to the way people evolve and cross paths again in life.

The song expresses a gentle acceptance of this new reality, with the phrase “Time does things well” recurring regularly to underline a peaceful resignation to the vagaries of life and relationships. The melody resonates with serenity and acceptance, offering a reflection on the passage of time and the changes it brings.

Most of the recording took place in Lucill's home studio, before the duo joined forces with Alexis Gagnon on drums and percussion, and Pascal Shefteshy on mixing.
