LUCILL PRESENTS THE RADIANT « DIMANCHE MATIN »
Lucill continues to unveil his new universe in dribs and drabs with “Dimanche matin”, a hymn to unshakeable love. At the same time, he announces the arrival of his third album this autumn.
“Dimanche matin” celebrates unexpected encounters and the strength of the bonds they engender. Through images of shared Montreal moments, such as dodging the rain at Cinéma Moderne or wandering through Parc La Fontaine, the artist evokes a union that grows through complicity and discovery. The affirmative refrain insists on the idea of never leaving each other. The song also highlights the shared journey and the healing of wounded hearts. In the end, it's a passionate declaration, celebrating the chance to find each other again and give each other the right to finally belong.
The folk-influenced instrumentation, still centered on Lucill's guitars, is dreamy and luminous. It was recorded at Lucill's studio, with a few sessions at Studio Verville in Montreal. On the song, the artist is surrounded by Gabriel Lapointe, who brilliantly completes the rhythm section (drums and percussion). Pascal Shefteshy once again handles the mixing and mastering. The song was co-written with fellow artist Zoe Sanders.
